This is the first Christmas when Nigel and I have not been together with our daughter, Reagan. Colin, our son, spent few days with us over the Christmas and my Mom and sister, Juel came from Toronto on Christmas Day. Friends Gypsy and Daphne joined us for dinner as well.
I cooked a turkey and all the trimmings so that we would have lots of leftovers to enjoy for a day or two following Christmas.
The weather in Ontario was wonderful for travelling so no one had to worry about getting to and from home.
Nigel and I had just returned from a two week vacation in Florida so I wasn't at all ready for Christmas as I hadn't done any decorating. An enjoyable way to greet guests for dinner is to have a suitably decorated table set for the occasion.
